Last night's live session of Left 4 Dead 2 was a slight breath of fresh air. Unfortunately though, we were down a member of our regular L4D2 team. The Nick and I, decided to run without any mutations starting from the first campaign, Dead Center. Really, it was I who decided. I'm pretty sure I didn't give The Nick a chance to voice his opinion before hitting, "Start Game."

Picking Up After Slow Month

For the last month I've been a pretty major slacker on the gaming front. Life in the real world was a bit on the rough side. Work suddenly became super stressful. I saw a dentist a couple times and, in total, had 3 teeth pulled. The month finally reached its pinnacle with being laid off. A couple other excuses and side stories as well such as getting the run-around on a Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel game code (fuck you, Nvidia) and waiting for a new awesome icon logo from a kick-ass artist.

After mashing through some Gib Fest in L4D2, I decided we should try a new mutation (mode or mod). I selected the Dark Carnival campaign to give the Four Swordsmen mutation a shot. Here we are at The Fairgrounds trying to be ninjas and failing horribly!
